With support in the coordination of Professor Luz Torres, Project Joel voluntary, the ministry participated with a group of young ladies of the District of San Miguelito, one of the most popular areas of the province of Panama, in order to present the “My First job” program, which is a government initiative to empower citizens who have not had the opportunity to finish high school, for the purpose of opening a door to life with a paid employment.
The topics “Environment, Climate Change and Tourism “, “Towards working life” and “A life of Christian values” were developed over a period of 6 hours. By logging, there was a devotional and then those topics, which were presented by the volunteer Nelson Arauz.
“Bringing the Christian message to these levels is very positive because they are trained in an integral manner,” according to Prof. Torres said. Participants showed enthusiasm and interest to share in their own words their experience in this event.
