LEARNING ON THE MANAGEMENT OF PUPPETS.
A group of elementary students from the Sin Fronteras School were trained in the use of puppets, so that they could, using the puppet show (called “Clan of Memo”), to teach other children the clear message of the word of God. The enthusiasm shown by the children was evident and how they were impacted by the Biblical stories. Gradually, the work became very important to their lives, knowing the life and message of Jesus, and be able to share it in a simple and fun manner. We thank God for these children and how He had touched their hearts with His word.

FULL EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT AND AWARDS.
According to Professor Sandra Camarena from Christian School, working with short-term goals encourages students to plan long-term goals. We agree with this idea, as in the case of the Bible studies developed by this ministry with students, they will receive, at the end of each course, a certificate to recognize the hard work in the studio. Since two years students study these courses in their spare time. Some of these young people received certificates of recognition given in the Parque Omar inPanama Cityduring a summer event. With these studies we are confident that young people have been receiving a complete comprehensive training on prevention based on Christian values.

BIBLE COURSE “THE HISTORY OF CREATION” AND PERFORMANCES.
The methodology of painting the booklets “Creation Story”, to study and comment on their content and put it into practice has resulted in the formation of the group “The Watchtowers of the Lord”, who also have the role of Ranger school. This group held a parade in the school to promote values and display the booklets painted. The Director of the school, Militza Torres, gave great importance to this activity, supporting as well as engage in all events in which the group participates. The content of these booklets is used as Bible study, which takes the children to reflect on life from the perspective of God, the creator.

PROGRAM STARTED READING THE BIBLE.
To start the program of Bible reading, the ministry uses the booklet “History of Creation” to explain in a simple and attractive way the book of Genesis. Elementary students from the Sin Fronteras School have begun a journey that will last three to four years, achieved thus to read the entire Bible. This task requires responsibility and commitment, so for this, the support and participation of teachers and parents are very important. As soon as children start this healthy habit, it becomes part of their lives, enriching and strengthening their education in values.

PREVENTION WORK IN THE USE AND ABUSE OF DRUGS.
San Miguelito area is an area in which the population is facing situations of social risk, especially in the Use of drugs like alcohol and smoking. A high percentage of 10 years old children are starting to use cigars (smoking) and alcohol since age 12. Because of this situation, the ministry volunteers who support dictating the seminars should lead by example. The ministry center works through Project Joel regularly in some schools in this area. Nelson Araúz, Project Joel: “Alcohol is an evil that I see everywhere in our neighborhoods. The idea that Children are educated on the topic of integral prevention and preach by example, are a call to commit to teach by example. This is Biblical and leads us to be salt and light in this world. Children process information, reason and understand the move to their homes. “

BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM AND REINFORCING VALUES.
El Redentor Lutheran Church, located in Balboa, and Christ For All Nations conducted a complete workshop on “Self Esteem and Values”, in which 22 students from the Nautical School of Panama participated. A prayer, led by Ms. Marta González (member of The Redeemer Church) initiated this event. Subsequently, the video “The Butterfly Circus” was presented, guiding young people to recognize they need to develop their gifts and talents, highlighting the positive aspects of each and seeing as people with strengths, skills and areas that need improvement. The young people recognize that they have value, they are creatures made by God, they learned that the value they give themselves determines how they think and how they feel and handle their emotions affect their way of acting and treat others. The students became very excited and eager to continue participating in such workshops, which as Professor Minerva said, it is very helpful to improve their behavior and discover that all that energy and concern they feel can be channeled in a positive way.
We thank God for this opportunity to share with young people the message of His Word and pray to continue opening the doors to continue taking his message of love and salvation to so many young people who need an encounter with Him.

TRAINING FOR TRUSTEES OF THE PRISON SYSTEM.
A group of 80 aspiring trustees of the prison system received complete mental health training, taught by members of the team of professionals who form the Ministry of Health and Mental Health Intersectoral Network of which we share. As part of that preparation were giving them tools for conflict management, emotional control, improved self-esteem and teamwork with the aim that this information can help them do a better job with the prison inmates. We took the opportunity to present the biblical view of human relations, making emphasize that God is respecter of persons and as creatures made by God, He loves all people who have been away from Him, even those who have committed misdemeanors and criminal acts, offering forgiveness through repentance. The academy’s principal, Lic. Gisselle, said that these contributions augment training of these applicants to trustees whenever they are prepared to work in harsh environments where they must remain vigilant and order people often express violent and aggressive behaviors that seem to have no desire to change their lives. We pray to God that the seed of his Word that we sow in this group of people can germinate and bear fruit, and they can make a difference and giving workers a humane and share hope to those who have lost it.

ENHANCING SELF-ESTEEM TO SURVIVE IN HARSH ENVIRONMENTS.
As part of the scholarship program being conducted by the Municipality of Panamá in the area of Mañanitas, specifically with college students from Fe y Alegría School, we were invited by the social workers: Elidia Cubilla, Clotilde deCubasand Mabeline Abrego to present a workshop on building self esteem and reinforce values in young recipients. In this workshop we shared recommendations for a healthy self-esteem, encouraging young people to practice Christian values as the best strategy to cope with difficult environments where peer pressure, lack of functional homes, lack of values and a life without God leads many people to succumb to drugs, crime and other unhealthy lifestyles. Through dynamic and self-discovery analysis of individual young people to explore aspects of their personal lives that are pleasing themselves and those who make them feel bad. We note as many of them are tattooed on their bodies and souls, feelings of sadness and pain. After the workshop, we shared the good news that Christ loves them and offers His gift of forgiveness, salvation and friendship in the midst of their sorrows and anxieties; he comforts them and helps them deal with difficult situations. We guide you in prayer to God to present their problems and concerns as young people living in their day to day.

Workshop “EQUIPPING THE SAINTS: ANSWERING DIFFICULT QUESTIONS” IN GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH.
Members of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, located in Los Andes, participated in the seminar: “Answering Tough Questions,” taught byPastor Rubén Ávilaand Lic. Itza Romero, representing Christ for All Nations. Participants in this workshop learned that to discern the background of the questions that may seem uncomfortable, help them to share better the Gospel of Christ and discover the true feelings behind these questions and are a reflection of a spiritual and emotional the person who expresses it. Pastor Rubén shared that there are people who do not understand the justice of God and wonder how is that if God is just does not seem to apply his righteousness in a balanced way, 50% and 50% of benevolence and punishment for those who walk in wickedness. The wise answer we found in the Bible, which leads us to see that God is a just God, but of great kindness, otherwise all humanity had fallen into the clutches of sin with no hope.

“FIRST SPIRITUAL GROWTH” RETREAT OF EMANUEL CONGREGATION, IN SORA.
With the support of the Lord of Life Congregation ofSaint Louisand CPTLN-Panama, the Emanuel Congregation, located in Sorá, successfully conducted its first Spiritual Growth Retreat. Dr. Jaime Paredes and his wife, Dr. Ruth Paredes fromVenezuela, were invited to participate in this event in order to lead the retreat for youth and adults. Jaime was a missionary and church planter inColombiaandVenezuelafor over 20 years, and later served as Director of Christ For All Nations inCaracasfor 20 years. He graduated from the Theological Seminary inCali,Colombia, and has doctorates in theology and education. Ruth also graduated as a deacon and worked as a professor and director of education at several institutions. She has a doctorate in education.
Jaime began the retreat on Holy Thursday with an inspirational message on the first Passover and its meaning for us as Christians today. The group shared the Passover meal, remembering as did the Hebrews in the night of their deliverance fromEgypt. On Good Friday, James shared a message about “the true church” and our role as members, and Ruth spoke on “The Christian Armor.” The children were guided and assisted by volunteer Jasmine Martínez, from God is Great congregation, located in Loma Cova. We all shared the food as did the early Christians of the first century. On Saturday, everyone got up early to travel by bus to El Valle, a village in the central cordillera of Panamá. After breakfast, we gathered for a very stimulating session with Ruth about our “Self Esteem” as Christians. James followed with a powerful presentation titled, “Christ, the Power of Our New Life.” After an interval for lunch and a tour bus to El Valle, the group returned with new energy. In the afternoon, the end of the presentation of James was presented and a time for questions and answers. The bus trip to Sorá gave everyone an opportunity to share what they learned in the day.
On Sunday, we changed the normal time of worship at 7:30 am, with an Easter service with Jaime preaching, followed by a breakfast of fish and rolls, to remind us how Jesus prepared breakfast for his disciples after His resurrection. Jaime’s sermon entitled “Living with the Living Christ,” gave a powerful conclusion to the withdrawal, and feels the presence of the Holy Spirit moving among all present. The response of all the retreat was, “We must do this again VERY soon!” God willing, we will do exactly that.
(We received this information from our brother Kenneth Peterson who is the person In charge of the Work.)

STUDYING THE COURSE “Jesus the Good Shepherd.”
The idea of presenting this course at Jesús en los PobresSchoolcame from the experience of having used in the Sunday school of the Dios es GrandeChurch, located in Loma Cova, yielding very good results. The children were very happy to know that Jesus is our Good Shepherd; He cares for us and protects us when we are afraid of being alone and like the sheep recognize the voice of Jesus, they recognized the voice of their parents, to obey and respect. The children were accompanied by their teachers’ degree. One of the strategies of this course is to read the Bible passages cited for children to be learning to give use to the word of God.
